About Hong Kong

Hong Kong is one of the chinese restaurants listed in Astoria, New York. The business is registered at 25-10 Broadway, Astoria, NY 11106; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Astoria; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in New York are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Hong Kong at (718) 726-8482; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, hongkongnewyork.com.

Its Google rating is 3.8 out of 5 from 42 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Astoria is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Astoria is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Place the order for boneless spare rib tips ask them pay for extra barbecue sauce. They didn’t put it on the food nor on the side when I called them about it they told me sorry they’re busy I said but I paid for it , they said I know but we’re very busy so that means that I don’t get what I pay for cause they’re very busy and they took my money. Pork is dry. So sauce at all.

I've decided to edit my review, not only kicking it up to 5 stars, but to tell you the PERFECT winter Chinese dinner for 2: C34 (combo meal) plus their wonton soup. It comes with one perfectly fried eggroll, so get an extra, crunchy and delicious, the Hunan Shrimp is filled with crunchy vegetables with delicately spiced seasoning. We got a quart of the soup: Their wontons are not at all soggy combined with the perfectly flavored soup -- it was all excellent. My son had a taste and I had to rip it out of his hands to get my share, but the portion is very generous and was enough for two, so it's extremely reasonably priced. I highly recommend, enjoy!

recently ordered from Hong Kong Broadway in Astoria and was so impressed! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Everything arrived hot, well-packed, and exactly as ordered. The portions were generous, and the quality is honestly better than most takeout spots in the area. The staff was friendly and quick, and the service was super reliable. Highly recommend!

Hong kong food isn't that good at all they give you beat up. Chicken wings with the feathered on it. They rice is disgusting egg rolls very small. And when you get your food delivered the delivery man. Never give you your change only your bills. If your food come to $10.10 and you give them. A $20 Bill they keep yiur 90 cent. And give you your dollars bills then say where my. Tip before you can give them the tips the service there is terrible. And like i said the food isn't great at all.

I’m giving them a 4 star because their service when is direct and not through a third party is great. I almost always order in person or delivery if I have cash. Ordering through a third party like uber eats is wicked expensive, is not always the best quality because you don’t get to specify what you want or the delivery takes too long. Also the combos are limited on the app, don’t know if it didn’t pop up for me. Also they don’t offer the comp drink over a certain amount ($20) only in person 🤦🏽‍♂️ but they do warn you on the app. Food is good enough and decent prize for the plates
